Outlook 98 ver 8.5.5104.6 prompts for a password

Does anyone know?

Outlook 98 ver 8.5.5104.6 .... prompts for a password 5
minutes after successfully logging into outlook. It
prompts only once after you have logged onto it then it
seems ok. Why does Outlook prompt again for the password?
