Outlook as Default E-mail Program

Everytime I try to send an attachment from another
program ,such as Excel or Word, the Internet Connection
Wizard window comes up. I have the "Outlook as the default
e-mail program" box checked but it still asks me if I want
Outlook to be the default e-mail program. And when I start
Outlook it keeps asking me if I want Outlook to be the
default e-mail program. I am running OL2003 on Win XP. All
the users in my network are being affected. What is the
solution to this?

Start, Control Panel, Internet Options, Programs

Next to e-mail you should see your e-mail program. If not, click on the down
arrow and choose it.

This will store it for all of the Windows programs.
