Hi,
I am having a problem with windows XP and outlook when using it over a VPN
(Aventail) connection via USB ADSL dialup. When the users open outlook they
receive a login box they can login at this and it will work but the users
should not have to do this.
This problem is only occuring on windows XP and appears to be due to the
manage passwords option under the user accounts in manage passwords. If you
delete the entry that is created there when you dial up then outlook will
connect and authenticate correctly without requesting details from the user.
Any ideas as to what can be done to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Paul
