Outlook automation

I am looking for a way to automate our office processes in
Outlook similar to Goldime automation. Does anyone know of
an addin or vendor that can provide this solution.

Our office processes consist of numerous tasks. One
example - If a new client is added, I would like to have a
letter sent immediately, a thank you letter sent to the
referral source, a transfer spreadsheet updated, a welcome
packet sent out, etc. Currently we use checklists but I
would like to have our contact management solution
automate our tasks.

Where does the information workflow start? With an unformatted e-mail
(meaning a letter sent by the new client and not by a webform or template)
or within a database? If within a database or by hand adding the client into
the database you can start the workflow with a trigger on the creation of a
new record. Either way; Outlook isn't involved in this except from the
sending part but just could be any MAPI complient mailclient.
