outlook can not connect to your outgoing email provider

I am using Outlook 2007 on a wireless laptop. I have no trouble receiving
and sending email from my account while at home. When I am at work I can
receive but I am not able to send email. I get an error that reads: Outlook
can not connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to
recieve this message to contact your server administrator or ISP. I have
contacted them and no reason for it not working. I use McAfee as my
antivirus program. Any help would be appreciated.
