outlook changing default mail account

Daily when I open my Outlook XP I notice when view my
list of email accounts the dafault email account has been
chenged to another one of my list. I need to asign again
the original email account. How I keep it from changing?
Help me to fix it

Several times despite that I properly close my Outlook XP
when I finish working I still get the error message that
has not been properly closed. Please help to fix it
