McAfee was installed on my Dell laptop from the factory
and worked fine until I paid for the subscription (after
the 90 day trial was over). Now my computer - and 3
other same setups in my company - gives me an error when
I send emails with attachments (all files except PDF's -
although they gave me problems when the problem first
started but for some reason they don't cause errors
now). The error message will say that the server has
timed out and I must contact my server admin. The email
will not show as having been sent when in fact it has
been sent - and sometimes multiple times even though I
only clicked "Send" once. Even though it's been sent,
the email will stay in the "Outbox" and will never go to
the "Sent Box" while McAfee is operating. If I exit
McAfee, the emails will always go. I spoke with McAfee
and they said that their product is working fine. Any
suggested solutions would be very welcome.
