Outlook contacts need "001" prefix to dial from WM5 Pocket PC

How can I get Outlook or WM5 to append the International call prefix in front
of the country codes so I can make one-touch calls to international contacts
from the US on my new Pocket PC?

Configure the dialing properties in Windows properly and Outlook should
format the phone numbers correctly. You might have to change a value to
itself and save the contact again, however.

OK, let me be less of an idiot...

The subject should read "...need "011"..." versus "001"...never-the-less...

Outlook does the "+countrycode (areacode) number" properly for all contacts,
and Windows dialer does append the "011" properly...but the Pocket PC won't
append the "011" for the contacts...can you shed any light there?

Thanks much either way...

I thnk you're now venturing into the realm best covered in
microsoft.public.pocketpc or microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync, since
Outlook itself does not have the problem. Have you set the dialing settings
correctly in the PDA? Start>Settings>Connections Tab>Connections>Advanced
Tab>Select Location.
