Outlook Crashes when "Contacts" button is chosen

Outlook 2003 has recently started crashing (i.e. bringing up the MS
message box to report an error to MS, when I click the "Contacts"
button in the navigation pane. This does not happen if I go to
contacts via the folders. No other buttons are affected.

I've tried completely uninstalling Office, and then a complete
re-install, but the problem continues.

Any suggestions???
