Outlook Default as mail program? Why?

B

Ben Hogland

Hello,

I have Outlook XP for the calendar only. I use Outlook express for email and
want to continue to do so. Every time I set Outlook Express to default,
Outlook regains default status at reboot. I've de-selected the setting in
Outlook...> Tools...> Other to not make it the default email program too.
What am I missing here?

Thanks,

Ben

Control Panel->Internet Options->Programs tab - what is showing as the
default mail program there?

Reverts back to Outlook after boot-up; this after setting to Outlook Express
.. Why does it revert back to Outlook after setting it to Outlook Express?
I've tried this several times now and rebooted to no avail. I'm missing
something here.

Thanks,

Ben
