Outlook dies when switching identities

I want to use the Switch Identity feature in Outlook, but
after processing mail in as the first identity, when I
switch to a second identify, Outlook flashes back to my
desktop and closes the application. I also cannot reopen
Outlook unless I reboot. Any ideas for a fix?
