Outlook duplicates received messages

Hi, Can anyone help me with the following problem in
outlook XP. I get duplicate messages of the same email
from my contact who is working for another company. They
are using groupwise 6.0 for emails and we use outlook XP
at our company. A while after I received a message from
him, outlook downloads another copy of the email message.
Can anyone help with this !!!
