When I try to open Outlook 2000, after long wait,I get a
message to wait until outlook builds the outlook bar,
then message that cannot open the file containing folders
used to send mail, open address book, etc. Prompts to
choose create new folder or open existing folder. Either
choice causes unknown error and outlook closes. Sometimes
I just get the message that unexpected error occured,
mapi unable to load information service pstpxr.dll. make
sure service is installed and correctly configured. I
have tried to repair the installation, but it gets hung
up and I get error message 1310 ,error writing to
system\mapi\1033\nt\scanpst.hlp verify that you have
access. I can't get past this. Outlook worked fine a
couple of days ago, and as far as I know, nothing was
changed. Please help if you can.
