outlook error...Operation Failed

I have been using outlook for many years and in the last
week I am not able to open outlook. It appears it is going
to open up and then at the last second and error message
comes up "Operation Failed." I have removed and
reinstalled outlook and I can't get past this error
message? Anybody know how I can correct this?

Hi,

Can you try with the option on the run prompt as
outlook/safe. This will open outlook in safe mode. Try
this out this worked for me

Milly, I am also having the same problem with Outlook 2000.
I have at home a Windows 98 Second Edition and as of
yesterday (May 6, 2004) Outlook quit working for me. I
tried re-booting several times to no avail. Before I try
to re-install I was going to try to use the "GOBACK"
feature to re-set my system to a few days earlier. Based
on the posts I have been reading here, I doubt that will
work. Any suggestions?
