Outlook & Excel changing words

I have Office 2007.

When I type the state abbreviations TN and TX they are changed to TEN and
TAX in Excel and Outlook.

When I forward the excel file to another person with Office 2007, it does
not happen. I am figuring it is a set-up issue within my Office Suite and
not a file problem.

Please Help
