OUTLOOK.EXE does not close

Have an XP Pro machine with Outlook 2002. When you close Outlook,
OUTLOOK.EXE is still running and doesn't shutdown. If you open and close
Outlook 10 times during the day, you'll have 10 instances of it running in
Task Manager's processes. First time I saw this there were no less than 40
instances of it running because the user had not rebooted or shutdown the
machine in a couple of weeks.

Done that. The problem is none of them I've read apply to this problem or
they have broken links.
