outlook express 6 (6.00.2800.1123)

Whenever I try to open a message in Outlook Express I get
an error that says "There was an error opening this
message. An error has occurred.". Sorry I can't be more
descriptive but that is all the error says. Can anyone
tell me how to get rid of this message? I recently
upgraded to Windows XP and this is when I started getting
this message. Thanks for any assistance you can
provide.
