outlook express and activesync??

I have outlook express 6 and activesync. for my handheld.
my handheld is saying (when I sync) no contacts installed
and not calendar installed, both of which are true. how
do I install these? they dont seem to be anywhere? i have
addresses, but this is not contacts (really!!!). its
probably dead obvious, but thanks for reading.

Activesync does not connect at all with Outlook Express, only Outlook.

You can't use ActiveSync with Outlook Express. It requires Outlook.
