outlook express can't find server after download

I am a newbie here so forgive me in advance of anything wrong. I am
running Win2000. When I open up oulook express6 and login, my emails
download. The problem I have is immediately after the download stops,I
get an outlook message that says it can no longer find the gmail
server. We change to my daughters identy and she can't even get to
download, as no server. I disconnect from my DSL network and reconnect,
but no help. I have to reboot, download my daughters email and the
cycle starts over. Any suggestions?

Outlook Express problems should be posted in an Outlook Express newsgroup
like news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general,
not in an Office Outlook newsgroup.
