Outlook Express delete command failure

My Outlook Express now refuses to allow me to delete any of the messages from
my Inbox. Furthermore, every time I create new mail and try to send it, it
gives me an error message that this operation failed. When I click to find
out more details concerning the error, it displays a blank box.
