Outlook Express not responding

When I try to go into outlook express to view messages
etc., It opens up & it just freezes. When I check its
status, it says(not responding). I can't even get to the
product information or anything to check it out. This
started either late last Thursday or Friday morning.
Everything else on my computer is working, but it is a
pain to have to go to the various websites to check my
emails.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
