Outlook Express or Windows Mail for email, instead of Outlook?

I tried to send a pic via my new Power Point, but seem to be restricted to
using Outlook. I currently use Outlook Express and Windows Mail. What
should I do? Are there associated settings I should activate?

What do you mean you tried to send a picture via PPT? Could you please
explain the steps you're using?

If you mean you tried to use File | Send to | Mail Recipient, you will
probably have better luck just saving the file to your drive and then
attaching it as usual to the OE or WM email message.

if you use "File / Send to / Mail Recipient" you will be asked for setting
up Outlook. I think it is not possible to use OE or Windows Mail with this.
So you better do as Echo suggested: save the presentation to your disk and
add it to a mail as an attachment.

A question to chuckster. How do you use Outlook Express (with Windows XP)
and Windows Mail (with Windows Vista). Or are you saying Windows Mail and MS
Office Outlook?
