It will not let me open up any attachments. Says OE has
removed access to following unsafe attachments even when I
send something to myself. How do I turn this safeguard
off?

Go to Tools/Options and then the security Tab. Uncheck the box that says
"Do not allow attachments to be saved. . . . . . . " - then click Apply, OK
and now you should be able to read these. . . .
