Whenever I try to respond to an e-mail in Outlook Express, a "Windows
Installer" window pops up. I hit "cancel" and wait, then a box pops up that
says "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000 Premium." I
hit cancel again, wait, and this little go-round repeats a few times before
it stops and I can write an e-mail reply.
I usually use hotmail for my e-mailing needs, and have no problems. I only
use Outlook when accessing my Outlook mail from work. In other words, I go to
an https://webmail address, log in, and can get into my work e-mail from
home. The version of Office I use at home is Office 2000 Professional.
I've reinstalled Windows, and it hasn't helped. Any more suggestions?
