Outlook 2000:
Is there a cache somewhere that stores not only the words that were
searched for, but also the results to that search?
Here's the situation. If I run a search for a contact for the first time
(using the Find button on the toolbar searching in a public folders contact
folder), everything is as expected. Then if I go and change the information
of the contact (for example, I add a name to a contact where there was only a
company name (File as is Company (Last Name, First Name)) When I run the
same search again, the results come up right away as if it didn't run a new
search, and the information of the contact is not changed. I tried
refreshing, restarting outlook and even rebooting, nothing will make the
search run again with the same criteria.
If anyone has any ideas about this it would be greatly appreciated, I'm
assuming it's some kind of caching issue, but where and why, I don't know.
Please help, this is driving us crazy.
