Outlook hangingup Windows

L

Lin

When I shutdown or restrat my WindowsXp system, I see a
message box that says "Microsoft Outlook - please close
all Microsoft Office applications before shutting down
the system". What should I do to get rid of this message?
Thank you

Are you exiting Outlook before you try to shut down Windows? If so, do you
have a PDA docked? If so, pull the PDA out of the cradle first.

Thank you Patricia, Outlook and MSOffice are opened at
Startup and remain open throughout my sessions and I
(usually) do not exit these programs when I shut down. I
don't know what a PDA is so I do not believe that it is
in the equation. Thank you, Bob

Ah, you should always close all open programs before shutting down Windows.
