Outlook Icons

I just upgraded to Windows XP. The default does not show
Office icons on the bottom tray. Is there a way to put
them there? Now to start Word, for example, I have to go
to start/programs/word. Three steps I have a shortcut on
the desk top but even that can require several steps to
get there. I'd like the icons of the programs I use most
often to stay visible in the tray next to the start
button. Thanks in advance. K

Drag them from the start menu to the quick launch bar.

Right click on Microsoft Office folder on the start menu and choose Open.
Right click on the shortcuts (select all at once if you want) and drag
to the quick launch bar and drop them on the bar. You'll have the option
of Move, Copy, or create shortcut. Choose Copy.
