Outlook icon in system tray?

R

Rick B

I just upgraded to Outlook 2003. I now have an icon in my start menu, an
icon on my desktop (which I deleted), an icon in my quick-start menu, and an
icon in my system tray. (Not to mention the button in my taskbar) The one
in the system tray is pretty much worthless as far as I am concerned. Is
there some wway to get rid of this?

Thanks!

You can't get rid of it, but you can hide it through Windows. Right click a
blank area of your systray and choose properties. Click the Customize button
at the bottom of the window that comes up. From there you can choose to
always hide the Outlook icon.
