Outlook Inbox Sub folders dissapear?!

Does anyone know why when I copy/paste a backup of a .pst into outlook 2003
the subfolders ive created dissapear?

Yet if I do an actually import/export of the .pst the subfolders...don't
dissapear?

You shouldn't do either - see here for how to CORRECTLY restore your Outlook

There's no way to copy/paste a PST into Outlook. Exactly what are you
doing?
