Outlook/Incredimail/profiles

KEvin

I am sharing an XP machine w/ my 11 yr old daughter who
insists on Incredimail. She is using Outlook express on
her profile, and I am using Outlook 2K on my profile.
Incrediamail is only installed on her "side", but it
still hijacks my Outlook. Everytime I open mine, I am
prompted that Outlook isnt my default email client...
any suggestions?
Thanks.

you can try adding this to the outlook shortcut you use (or creating one):

/designer

your shortcut will look like:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE\OUTLOOK.EXE" /designer

I don;t know if it'll work with outlook 2k though -

Not sure how an 11-year-old can "insist" on Incredimail, but hey, I'm not a
parent :)

Some reasons not to use Incredimail, besides the obvious 'bloat' ...

I believe the default mail client is set per OS installation, not per
Windows profile.

then you'll need to put up with the dialog or remove incredimail.
