Outlook is sending my email to deleted folder

Outlook XP(2002)/SP3 is suddenly (as of this afternoon) automatically sending
all my incoming emails to Deleted Folder instead of Inbox. Nothing has been
changed in settings. Anyone experiencing this or have any suggestions?

Check your rules....Outlook wouldn't have made this decision on its own
(it's not that presumptuous) so you may have a malformed rule set up.

Do you have an antispam or -virus add-in scanning mail?

Check your rules....Outlook wouldn't have made this decision on its own
(it's not that presumptuous) so you may have a malformed rule set up.


Right after posting this, I remembered setting a new rule---deleted that problem disappeared. Thanks Lawrence--if I hadn't stumbled on the answer myself I would have tried your (correct) solution.

yes i have that same problem and have even lost some business emails, i have
also spent days reviewing my settings, trying to correct the problem, it is
very irritating
