Outlook Locks up on e-mail with attachment

Hello:

All of a sudden my Outlook locks up anytime I try to open an e-mail with an
attachment. It does not seem to matter what type of attachment. It locks
up for about 2 minutes and then it is okay. I have tried just about
everything I can think of. TechNet has not sheed much light on it.

Any ideas?

Have you tried to do this with your virusscanner disabled?
