OUTLOOK / MS EXCHANGE SYNCHRONIZATION

K

Kenan

We recently installed MS Exchange at our office. I would like to synchronize my current PST (Personal Folder) with the Exchange folder. I also have a POP3 Yahoo account that I am checking at the same time and would like the Yahoo Inbox and Sent Items messages not to appear in MS Exchange account. I setup the rules so the messages are copied over to the Personal Folder file localy however the rules wizzard only enables file copy and not full move, hence my Yahoo messages stay on the MS Exchange server. Outlook does not have the capability where you can specify MS Exchange message to go to MS Exchange folder and other e-mail accounts to go to another local folder. This setting is universal meaning I can only send both accounts to be delivered to MS Exchange or Personal Folder localy.

Question 1: How do I separate POP3 Yahoo messages so they don't show up in MS Exchange folder?
Question 2: How do I setup the synchronization process and only synchronize certain MS Exchange folders with Personal Folder folders?

What I'm trying to accomplish is the ability to have all my MS Exchange messages locally so when I connect to domain when I'm not running VPN the messages will automatically be synched with MS Exchange folder and sent.
