outlook personal folders from read-only file

Hi there,

Anyone can advice me how to open a .pst file directly from
CD-R? I want to backup those old e-mail into a CD-R, and
later use outlook 2000 to access them as a personal folder
directly from CD reader. The outlook stop me from adding
this D drive file and prompt "no permission". The same
message also occur when a back-up .pst file at C drive was
assigned as "read-only". (e-mail address removed)

You can't open the file if it's read-only (as you've seen) and there's no
way around it (that I know of)
