outlook personal folders problem

outlook has both a "personal folder" AND AN "OUTLOOK TODAY
PERSONAL FOLDER" with the same sub folders, the outlook
today one is new and created by mistake but it now has full
control of the software and all the info is in the original
personal folders. i need to have only one set of these and
need a way to either combine them into one or...???

right-click on the personal folder you don't want,
click 'properties for...', then click the advanced
button. You'll see the location of the file on this page.
Close Outlook, go to the folder that contains the PST
file. You may need to adjust the Explore view to
include 'hidden files and folders'. Delete or rename the
file. Open Outlook, you should then see only one personal
folders list.

Copy all of the items in each folder of the "Personal Folders" you don't
want to the corresponding folder of the "Personal Folders" you do want.
When done, right-click on the one you don't want and click "Close".
