Outlook problem when shutting down computer

About 90% of the time I restart or shut down, I get a
message that says "outlook not responding" even though
I've already closed outlook. If I don't hit "cancel" the
machine never shuts down. Any reason I am getting this
message and any news as to how to fix?

What version and mode of Outlook? Do you have any software or add-ins that
hook to Outlook? PDA? Fax? Any other add-ins that might use Outlook
(WatchYourBack!, MAgic Mail Monitor?)
