outlook problems

I needed to reinstall outlook and which time I rehooked
it up to my old outlook data file. This all went fine,
but I am having a strange problem now. When I go into
contacts, I can see all of my contact information.
However, when I am typing a new email message and I click
on the address tab, it brings up a blank dialog box and
says there are no address in there. Is there some way I
can synch it up so that it looks in the correct place for
the contacts again?

What version of Outlook, is the Contact folder enabled as an email address
book, to check right click the Contact folder choose Properties > Outlook
