Outlook pst

Dear All,

I have the backup addin in the outlook enabled. I have Offie XP running with
Win xp. Bot the programs are updated as far as the service packs are
concerned.

The outlook.pst is nearly 1.7 Gb in size.

When the backup runs it runs for some time then reports a CRC error & is
unable to complete the backup. I ran the scanpst to check the file, but it
is also unable to complete the process. I ran scandisk to check the disk,
but it does not report any error. how can i fix this problem?

Please clarify.

A pst-file cannot be bigger than 2GB. To repair
