Outlook Question on Distribution Lists

S

Sheree Colonna

Does Outlook have the ability to send messages to multiple
recipients (i.e. distribution list)without showing each
recipients name in the "To" section of the e-mail. I'd
prefer the word "distribution" show in the "To" section.
Please help.

If you have created a distribution list and given it a
name, when you type in that name in the To: column, just
the name should appear. After the message is sent, all
you see is the name of the distribution list, unless you
right click on the name of your list.

Or - Send the e-mail to yourself and put the distribution list name i nthe
BCC Field.

But the recipient will still see the expanded list of all recipients. Look
at Matthew's response. It is correct.
