Outlook quit working!!

Outlook ran fine for 4 weeks (new machine) until this
afternoon.

Can't open my Outlook App (Win2k - Office 2K). I've gone
thru MS Office to the outlook icon and tried to open
there, but I get reponse. Also, "Find Target" button on
the shortcut window is not active. Nothing in the "Start
in" line either.

If I go to a web site and click an e-mail link, i get no
response there either.

Alsmost acts as though it deleted itself. Any clues??

what happens when you select start | run | type: outlook.exe /safe | ok
button? (you may wish to do this after you logout/login.)
