Outlook send/receive

When I was working Saturday, I noticed that I could not
get my emails. The inserted message keep poping up on my
screen.

Task 'pop.earthlink.net - Sending and Receiving' reported
error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was
interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your
server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I messed with the email account and for no particular
reason the software let me download my emails. Wow! It's
magic. Then 20 minutes later is would not again. Today I
did the same thing and wow it let me in and now it won't.
I have run repair off the Office XP disc. That do not seem
to fix anything.

This all started when we had a power black out Friday and
the power was out for about 2 hours. We all powered down
our computers even though I am on a backup and serg
protector. When I was able to boot up I had lost my
network connections and they seem to be going off even
though I am able to ping the server off the DOS promp. It
seems to be losing my passwords because I keep putting
them back into the blanks and able to reconnect to the
server and other network computers. But it continues to
drop me off the network????????

Has anybody now whats going on?

Leonard
