outlook spam mail

Rules and junkmail options are not working. None of my
incoming mail is being auto deleted. Very annoying.

which version of outlook?

if you leave outlook open all day, do the rules eventually work - if so, do
they only fail when outlook is first opened?

if you answer yes to all, it's a known issue -

Is this really a known issue? I there a fix?!? Thanks for pointing this out!
This has been making me absolutely crazy that it's been happening, but more
so, I thought I really lost it when I began thinking that this may be
related to how LONG Outlook was open!

If you have any more info or links on this I would really appreciate it.
