The outlook editor can't, but word as the editor can.

Hi Steph,

For Further information on how to Change the way the spelling checker
works

1.)From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click
Options, and then click the Spelling tab.
Select the options you want.
2.) The following spelling checker options that you set in Outlook apply to
both Outlook and Microsoft Word editors:

- Always check spelling before sending.
- Ignore original message text in reply or forward.

When set in Outlook, the following options apply only to the Outlook e-mail
editor:
=Always suggest replacements for misspelled words.
=Ignore words in UPPERCASE.
=Ignore words with numbers.

Thank You...
Raghu...

Well, of course.
But Word insists upon spellchecking the original message
that is being replied to or that is being forwarded.
This is also unacceptable.
