How do I stop Outlook from synchronizing folders when I don't use Exchange
server? Outlook often says it is synchronizing folders when send/receive is
in process. I have my email accounts through GoDaddy.com and I connect to the
Internet via cable modem through Charter Communications. I do not keep copies
of emails on the email server. The computer is connected to the cable modem
through a Linksys wireless router. I don't understand what it would be trying
to synchronize and it slows down the send/receive process.
