When I open Outlook 2003 I have it set to go to "Today" which it does.
Displayed in "Today" are several folders which I selected to desplay
such as
"Inbox", "Sent Items", etc. When I clicked on the hyperlink for
"Inbox" it
went directly to my inbox without problems. Today all that changed.
Now
when I click on "Inbox" I get a grey page with the message "Unable to
display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the
specified
folder location." The box that shows the file location box shows
outlook:/./\Personal%20Folders\Inbox. However, if I select "Inbox"
from the
"Go\Folder\Inbox" drop down menu, "Inbox" opens fine and the file
location
box shows outlook:Inbox.

If you are getting this problem after installing the BETA VERSION 3 of
IE7, try the following from your Registry...

Take a backup of your Registry.. then..

Go to Start click on Run type Regedit press enter go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Today\Folder

Delete the '0' key from the folder 'folder' inside 'today

Hopefully that helps - it helped me.
