Outlook will not allow me to select Word as my e-mail editor

The option to select Word as my e-mail editor is greyed out and will not
allow me to select it. I am not sure what caused this but until recently I
was able to use Word and send e-mail in HTML format. Now I cannot. I am using
Outlook 2002 SP3 as well as Word 2002 SP3. Anyone have any idea where to
start looking for the cause?
