Using Outlook 2003/WinXP Professional
Recently bought Hallmark Greeting Card 2004 Software because a friend of
mine told me that it could/would send e-Cards, but after I design the card
and tell the program to attach it to email, Outlook starts but will NOT
attach the email because it says it MAY BE HARMFUL. Hallmark save this file
in a .exe format. How to I tell outlook its ok to attach the file?

Read the warning message again. Outlook doesn't prevent you from attaching
and sending an .exe file. It warns you that recipients are not likely to be
able to open it.

A better choice would have been to use one of the online greeting card
services that don't send suspicious looking .exe files.

I agree with Sue - sending an executable file will likely not work for many
recipients - I block all exe files (and other potentially dangerous file
types) on all my client's servers/computers, and Outlook itself may do that
as well for your recipients. Even if it didn't, any sensible,
security-conscious recipient is not going to open it.
If that's the only format your new software can save in / use, I'd 1)
complain loudly to the manufacturer and 2) return the software.
