Outlook will not send "big" attachments

What settings might be wrong when Outlook is reporting "unknown error"
during sending when the attached file is for example 1 MB (picture).
Smaller files goes thru, but not bigger ones.

Outlook may not be the problem. It may be your ISP. I routinely send
messages with attachments as big as 5 or 6 MBs.

Your ISP may be the problem. What version of Outlook? Could you turn on
diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q240347) and post
the SMTP logfile after such an occurrence? That may give you some clue as
to where the problem is.

Logging doesn't work and it says 9.0 in article. I have 10.0
