outlook won't exit on shutdown

If outlook is open when I try to shutdown my computer, I
will get an error message that will say "please exit all
Microsoft Applications before shutting down" or something
like that. I just reimaged my computer, and I don't know
if this is some sort of Outlook XP thing. Previously, I
had Office 2000, and I upgraded to Office XP without this
error message. This time, I did a fresh install of only
Office XP. This is the only application I ever get this
error message with. Is there some setting I need to
change somewhere?
