outlook works a while then goes into "not responding"

this is a repost from my earlier message which had a
uselessly broad subject



I recently added Norton Internet Security and now my
outlook freezes after a few actions, i can open a few
emails or send some but after a short while i get the
dreaded "not responding". i tried uninstalling internet
security but outlook still didn't work. i also fixed the
pst file with the microsoft utility (it found errors,
then said it wasn't responmding and then said it had
fixed the file but outlook continues to crash. any ideas
..

I'm encountering the same sort of problem...possibly
brought on by Norton System Works. I know Norton screws
up my AutoCAD, but I found out how to fix that by
replacing a .dll file. I went to Symantec for a solution
and then to MS and finally got the fix from my AutoCAD
dealer. If you do find a fix let me know and I'll do the
same for you.
